We have lived in Dobson Ranch 20 Years

My wife and I raised our two kids in Dobson Ranch. When our children were young we took advantage of the ranch amenities – the La Casita club house, summer camp, the many activities & events and the ranch library.

We loved participating in numerous events in our community, many of which are free. Check out their Rancher’s Roundup monthly newspaper for a complete list.

Things for Kids to do

Activities include the Winter Wonderland and breakfast with Santa in December, the April Eggstravaganza, Halloween spooktacular in October, Fall festival in November as well as music in the park, fishing club, golf tournament, youth summer camp for kids and an ice cream social.

Dobson Ranch has a number of lakes, lake pathways for walking and play grounds for the kids. We have watched small motorized boat races in the lake, watched a high school band concert, enjoyed picnics and birthday parties, and played basketball in the park.

Do you like to golf?

Be sure to visit the Dobson Ranch Golf Course. This is a City of Mesa operated 18 hole course with a chipping and putting green, driving range and club house that serves meals.

Dobson Ranch is managed professionally, one of the oldest and most respected HOA’s in the U.S.A.

At $138.60 quarterly, our HOA fee is modest compared to other managed communities and offers substantial amenities, activities and events.

We really liked Gary, he went above and beyond our expectations as far as buying a house. He seemed very knowledgeable about the process, and managed to orchestrate the sale of our home in another state with the purchase of our new one.

Contacting our lender, our title company, everybody necessary to make sure we closed on the date that we wanted to. Amazingly without any delays that are so typical in the real estate world.

He was able to really hone in on our personal style and take us to listings that fit our specifications and within our budget. Even though I was particularly picky, he stuck with us and showed us listings all over the city.

After our home funded he met us at the house and helped us unload our moving truck (totally unexpected!) and even brought us some necessities (TP, paper towels and gift cards!) to make the transition even easier.

Gary was very helpful in finding the condo I eventually bought. I was mostly interested in condos near Light Rail, and under 60,000$, so the selection was quite limited. Gary is very quick with responding, and he will definitely help you find what you want (provided you know what you are looking for). I wish I bargained a little on the price, but than that is a different story.
